The artist
Martin W. CurranDS FDS(RCPS) MFGDP
Specialist Oral Surgeon whose career has encompassed decades of clinical leadership, mentoring and service to dentistry in Northern Ireland. He pioneered primary care oral surgery by establishing one of the region's first specialist oral surgery practices in 1987. Photography has long accompanied him — within BDA community events he has often served as an unofficial photographer. He believes profoundly in a single image's capacity to convey meaning, memory and emotional truth.
