About the work
The image of the lighthouse in a storm expresses my strong belief belief that even in your darkest moments , when you feel lost and alone ,there will always be someone there to reach out and help you
The artist
Len D'Cruz
Len D'Cruz is a practising general dental practitioner and owner of a seven-surgery mixed NHS and private dental practice in North East London, providing a full range of general and specialist dentistry with a strong focus on prevention and periodontal care. Having qualified from the Royal London Hospital in 1989, he has combined clinical practice with education, mentoring and dento-legal expertise throughout his career. He is Head of BDA Indemnity, an Examiner for the Overseas Registration Exam, and Lead Lecturer at the University of Bedfordshire for the PGCert in Dental Law and Ethics. Len has co-authored Dental Law and Ethics and Understanding NHS Dentistry, writes and lectures widely on dento-legal issues and NHS dental regulations, and sits on the Editorial Board of Dental Update. He is also pursuing his interest in photography, having been awarded Licentiateship of the Royal Photographic Society and currently undertaking a Diploma in Photography.
