Artist statement
A series of small, meditative works on the theme of bloom and flight — gentle studies in colour and form, suited to quiet reflection.
The artist
Wendy Farr
Wendy is a dental nurse in Gloucestershire, and has been at the same practice for over 30 years. Her hobbies include walking, swimming, travelling, knitting and watercolour painting. Her father was a signwriter and artist and always encouraged Wendy to paint with him. She doesn't feel she will ever reach his standard, but loves the process.
