About the work
I took this photograph one fine summer's evening at the Giant’s Causeway on the Antrim Coast in Northern Ireland. It is a World Heritage Site and a National Nature Reserve

Artist statement
Capturing images has always provided a welcome balance to the day-to-day stresses of running a dental practice. A visit to the Giant's Causeway or the Scottish Highlands is a delight to the senses — the stunning landscape cannot fail to take your mind off work.

Ossie BruceBDS (QUB)
A retired General Dental Practitioner from Northern Ireland whose lifelong passion for photography has provided creativity, connection and balance alongside a demanding professional career. Inspired at a young age by his father and uncle, both keen photographers, Ossie now describes photography as 'a way of seeing'. The real joy comes from being present in a landscape and responding instinctively to light, place and mood.
